3/25/06 Hello and welcome to our site. Here is a bit about us and a bit of something we have in mind. We have just started this site and in no time there will be much much more to see. Years ago I owned a black quarter horse stallion named The Black Bomber. Unfortunately after breaking him and owning him for his first few years, events unfolded and I was forced to part with him, and all the mares I owned at the time. This was heartbreaking for me, but at the time it was for the best.  I spent the last ten years only thinking about all of them and not wanting to get back into the horse business for fear of losing them to some other event. My daughter had recently gotten on the internet and found The black bomber for me and I went to meet him and his new owner. She is a great lady and very caring and considerate of others feelings. So when I did see this big black guy I called my friend so many years, I knew it was ok to cry a bit. At that time she was kind enough to offer me a mare in foal to him. I cannot even begin to express how much that meant to me, It will be bigger than Christmas this August, I can hardly wait, if she has a filly I'll be breaking and riding her then breeding her later. If it is a stud colt, you can bet this fella will not lose his parts. after all of this excitement and trying to build a barn for this new venture. I found an ad for a black stud colt, I thought I'd  look at him just for fun. This guys owner was equally nice and cared for her horses very well. As many who know horses will understand, when horse people go look at horses most of us are looking for something in particular. Myself, I was looking for large boned, short backed, big hips, and nice disposition. Color comes last as a bonus for me, this guy was meant to come home with me, he is really something special. He is a breeding stock paint which never even entered my mind as something undesirable. He is nice enough it did not matter. In two days of owning him, I threw the saddle on him and starting working him. He was meant to have a saddle on, that is for sure. He did not spook or do much of anything that might suggest me needing a parachute when I get on him. So keep your eye on our site because this guy is going somewhere for sure. I also purchased a great granddaughter to The Black Bomber. I just couldn't pass her up. She is big and put together absolutely correct to go many different directions. She to is a breeding stock paint and solid black. She belonged to the same nice lady that owned the colt. My daughter will be running barrels with her in no time. This filly will also be something special, Now I'm not sure where fate is taking us this time and who knows what other horses may fall in my lap, but it should be interesting. I do know that if you look at the sires of these horses you will see greatness. They may not have tons of accomplishments on paper but if you know horses and you look at them you to can imagine what may come from them.  I'll updating this every so often for those who want to see what's next. Waiting for this foal out of my old stallion is the biggest thing in our lives right now. As soon as it arrives, it will be on here.  I will not be breeding this colt for some time. He will be doing something with a purpose first. His sire is a very big beautiful black and white Overo anyone would love to own. This guy is definitely my main project, and I know he will be a good one. Thanks so much for visiting our site and please come back.
